The Registry of Polar Observing Networks (RoPON) is now available online at https://polarobservingregistry.org.

RoPON is a catalogue of systems and related organisations that coordinate or track observing activities infrastructure at high latitudes. It includes discovery-level details such as network description, observational scope, spatial extent, and data or metadata access, along with links for more information.

House of Grímur in Ísafjörður

The first Grímsson Fellows announced!

251 applications from around 60 countries were received for the first 10 Grímsson´s Fellows. The 10 chosen fellows are invited to stay for 2-6 weeks in the House of Grímur, where former President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was born and his family lived. The house is in the historic town of Ísafjörður, the capital of the beautiful Westfjords region in Iceland.
