House of Grímur in Ísafjörður

251 applications from around 60 countries were received for the first 10 Grímsson´s Fellows. The 10 chosen fellows are invited to stay for 2-6 weeks in the House of Grímur, where former President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was born and his family lived. The house is in the historic town of Ísafjörður, the capital of the beautiful Westfjords region in Iceland.

Each Fellow will deliver a lecture or take part in dialogue sessions at the University Centre of the Westfjords, or in one of the three Universities (University of Iceland, Reykjavík University or the University of Akureyri).
