On December 10th 2013, the Polar Research Institute of China (PRIC), and six institutes from the Nordic countries as well as three other institutes from China signed a Cooperation Agreement on the China-Nordic Arctic Research Center (CNARC) to formally mark the inauguration of CNARC.
