In Tuesday‘s Law Forum, Nigel Bankes will address: (1) the background to the AHDR Reports, (2) the contents of the legal systems chapters and some of the choices that had to made as to what to include or exclude, and (3) some reflections on the process. Nigel was the lead author for the legal systems chapter of AHDR I and the co-lead author (with Timo Koivurova) of the legal systems chapter in AHDR II.

The Finnish Presidency, which started on January 1st, 2016, will focus on the following themes: water know-how; Nordic nature, sustainable development and international climate commitments; Nordic welfare society; digitalisation; dismantling cross-border barriers between the Nordic countries.
