Founded as an open platform for dialogue and cooperation, Arctic Circle brings together governments, businesses, research institutions, universities, Indigenous representatives, environmental organizations, think tanks, and civil society to discuss the future of the Arctic and its global importance. The organization describes itself as nonprofit and nonpartisan.
The annual Assembly attracts heads of state, ministers, parliamentarians, Indigenous leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, business representatives, students, and environmental advocates, reflecting the growing international interest in Arctic development, governance, climate change, energy, and security.
The event has become an important venue for international discussions on Arctic policy and cooperation, as well as a platform for presenting new research, initiatives, and business opportunities connected to the region.
