Taking into account requests from potential participants at Tradition for Tomorrow: Celebrating Nordic Folk Music & Dance and Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, it has been decided to extend the deadline for abstract submission to April 20th 2014.
The UNESCO convention regarding the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage is a central concept of the conference. The conference will facilitate interaction between all actors in the field and showcase broad themes aimed at increasing knowledge and understanding of Nordic cultural heritage of music and dance.
We encourage you to submit proposal(s) of max 250 words describing the content of your intended contribution. Proposals must be submitted through the online submission system available at the conference website www.tradition.is. Abstracts and lectures must be in English.
