North Star Group is pleased to offer, for the eighth consecutive year, NSG’s 2025 Arctic Internship. This three-month stipend-based remote-work internship is designed for senior-year college students or recent graduates, particularly those with a background in international relations and a strong interest in Alaska/Arctic/northern issues.
The 2025 Arctic Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting projects that shape Arctic governance, community resilience, and Indigenous initiatives, including the:
- Alaska Governance Project
- Arctic Community Resilience Youth Fellowship (ARCYF)
- Alaska Arctic Communities Collaborative and engagement with the Arctic Mayors' Forum
- Alaska Native Arts Foundation (ANAF)
The internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and offers flexible start and end dates, with the possibility of ongoing employment. The position may begin as early as May 1, 2025. Interns will gain valuable experience in professional communication, outreach strategies, Arctic policy development, and networking with leading organizations engaged in Arctic issues.
