WDS requests support from our membership to serve as peer reviews for the session proposals to SciDataCon. If you have the time to review no more than 5 session proposals in early March, please get in touch with us at with your name, email address, institution affiliation, and country for consideration. WDS Member receives funding

On 11 February 2022, Ireland announced its first national budget to advance open research practices. The funding was allocated to the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) to distribute to key initiatives identified by the National Open Research Forum (NORF). SciDataCon session proposal submission extended

SciDataCon 2022 session submission deadline has been extended to 28 February 2022.  Submit your proposal today at: https://www.scidatacon.org/IDW-2022/submit/. To learn more about the SciDataCon 2022 themes and call for sessions, see https://www.scidatacon.org/conference/IDW-2022/call_for_sessions/. And don’t forget, conference abstracts and conference poster submissions will be accepted starting in March through April once the preliminary program is published.

SciDataCon 2022, a part of International Data Week 2022, will be held virtually and in Seoul, Republic of Korea, 20-23 June 2022, with additional collocated, hybrid and virtual events before and after these dates.
