We have an opening for several APECS representative positions at the moment, which could be a great opportunity for early career scientists in your community. Could you circulate the following information within CliC?

The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS) and the Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) are searching for three early career scientists to join our community as APECS representatives. Two positions are available in the SOOS Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiative and one in the Observing System Design Capability Working Group (OSD CWG). The APECS representatives will attend working group meetings; and be responsible for assisting with the coordination of the meetings and other working group activities – but most importantly they will be an important link between APECS and SOOS.

The position will be for 2 years and non-salaried, but there will be travel reimbursement for attending one meeting if the working group holds a meeting during your term, and potential for co-authorship of publications.
