SciDataCon: A part of IDW 2022
SciDataCon, hosted by WDS and CODATA, has released its sessions program for International Data Week 2022.
Sessions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- WorldFAIR - Global cooperation on FAIR data policy and practice
- Sampling Nature for Science and Society
- A data-driven systems approach to the net zero transition: A control loop for the protection of the planet

ARM Climate Research Facility
The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility has recently released data on their radiative flux analysis study on Macquarie Island. The study successfully calculated clear-sky irradiance in the shortwave and longwave surface fluxes from the measured broadband irradiance.
The data is available for use here at ARM's Data Center. This data can only be accessed by those who have an account with ARM's Data Center. To create an account, click here.
KISTI - Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information
The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is set to commence the "Asian BigData Superhighway" computing infrastructure building project. The project will manage and support network infrastructure that rapidly transmits large-scale S&T data such as telehealth, distance education, Eduroam, and climate risk/disaster management research.
