On March 28, the President of the Republic of Iceland Gudni Torlasius Johannesson arrived to Arkhangelsk, Russia, to participate in the International Arctic Forum "The Arctic - Territory of Dialogue".
Johannesson helds a number of business meetings and bilateral talks with Russian and foreign representatives of government organizations, the scientific and business community, in particular, he will meet with the leadership of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University. M.V. Lomonosov, on the site of which the Forum will be held.
On March 30, Johannesson will take part in a key Forum event – the plenary session ‘People and the Arctic’, which will take place at the Lomonosov Arkhangelsk Drama Theatre, and will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
