UArctic member bulletin for the month of November 2025 has just been released.

The fifth Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Award (FP Award) has been awarded to Sharon Snowshoe, Arlyn Charlie, Kristi Benson, Trevor Lantz and Tracey Proverbs in a ceremony at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland. Their project aims to integrate Gwich’in ecological classifications with climate and geospatial data to assess and adapt to landscape change across the Gwich’in Settlement Region.

Arctic Circle Assembly Report from Alena Fedotova
With the support from UArctic Travel Grant, Alena Fedotova from Tampere University attended Arctic Circle Assembly. She participated in a session organised by APECS Canada, U.K. Polar Network, KOARC, Korea Maritime Institute (KMI), and Uarctic, where she shared her experience of participating in the Korean Arctic Academy in Busan in July 2025.
