The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists is still accepting applications for their Project Groups for 2026/2027. If you are a member of APECS, you can apply until October 26th 2026.

Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS)

APECS is inviting all its members to join their activities as members of Project Groups for the new APECS term! This is one of the easiest ways to get more involved in APECS and to contribute in a way that is best suited to one's interests and skills. Hosting meetings, taking notes, research, writing, graphic design, social media posting, organizing events - these are just a few examples of the ways you can contribute to APECS Project Groups. Project Groups are working groups of APECS that are led by Council members. Some of the groups have been run over many years while others are newly developing.

The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists is is an international and interdisciplinary organization for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, early career faculty members, early career professionals, educators and others with interests in Polar and Alpine regions and the wider cryosphere. Membership is free.
