Funding Resources

We all know how difficult it is to fund research and activities. We have put together a list of various funding agencies, foundations, and possible corporate sponsors that might be useful. There are also a few links to various writing resource guides put together by other groups that can be helpful when developing a proposal.

Feel free to add additional funding resources or writing guides. The instructions to do this are at the bottom of this page.

How to add a funding source

Thanks to Robyn Schofield we have a great list on funding sources from various agencies, foundations, institutions, etc. from several countries around the world on the website.  She has also created a map that displays these sources by region. To view this new resource, click here.

This is a great start to a much needed resource for not only our research efforts, but to projects like the career development workshops, travel support and funding sources for education and outreach activities.  This resource will be even more useful if everyone can add a source or two. You can also add additional funding sources by simply sending an email directly to this site, but please format as follows:

• Include a descriptive title of the Funding Source in the subject line.
• In the body of the email fill in the following information, in order:
          * Type of Funding source: Project -traditional, Project-non traditional, Individual or Travel.
          * Date(s) Application due: 
          * Agency: 
          * Country: 
          * Website: 
          * Specific Program(s): 
          * Target group: 
          * Requirements:
