Meetings of Interest to Polar Researchers
Here is a listing of upcoming meetings that may be of interest to polar researchers. If you click on a meeting of interest, more information will appear below. Scroll down a little farther for instructions on posting a new meeting and all the meetings displayed on a map. Sometimes this page can take a little while to load, so please be patient.
To post meetings to the website,
send an email that will automatically appear on this website. We ask that you follow the same
specifications as the jobs emails and will update you again when more
features for this section are developed.
- Make sure the subject line is descriptive: remove FW: or anything extra that doesn't directly describe the job
- Remove your signature and any list serve signature that might be in an email you received.
- At the very end of the email, add a line with the city and
country where the job is located. Adding this simple line at the end of
the email allows for it to be automatically geo-referenced and put on
the map at the bottom of the jobs page. This allows for a quick view by
location of open positions.
- If you see any errors in the postings, please contact APECS outlining the error and they will fix it.
