I would just like to thank all the people that came to see me at the APECS poster at the European Geosciences Union (EGU), last week in Vienna. It was really fantastic to talk to so many people, from students and their supervisors, post docs, early faculty members and senior scientists to administrators and managers. There really needed to be at least two of me, so I apologise if you passed by but did not get a chance to chat to me about APECS. Almost all of the flyers I brought along disappeared even before the poster session time, so next time I will be sure to bring more. All in all, it was very successful and I was really motivated by the enthusiasm and passion for  polar regions that was evident in all those that I talked to. I hope you all enjoyed EGU and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
